An Investor needs to have some demotivating aspects in special like:
· No logical finance.
· Lack of clarity.
· Minimize the importance of the financial factor.
· Distrust due to lack of experience or perseverance.
So, if you want to negotiate with an investor you need to:
· Identify possible investors: you need to search for an investor and know about him if you want to make a deal with him so it will be easier if you know him.
· Prioritize them: make them feel special and give him attention.
And also, you need to know about an investor:
· In what does he or she invest?
· How does he participate in his investment?
· Hobbies: what he likes to do in his free time.
· Family: know about his family and how is he.
· Sports: know what sports he likes so you can relate that with you and find something in common.
· Mutual friends: also, you can find something related to him with the friends.
And also, with need to expect from him and what are we willing to offer>
· Amount
· Participation
· Time of return
So, in a negotiation you need to:
· Look for a meeting face to face if possible.
· Initiation with a little rapport.
· Present an anchor idea of what he can win in a certain topic.
· Take materials of the project, so you can get deeper in financial stuff.
· Release your specific proposal, what you expect about that and what are you going to give in exchange.
· Make a collaborative reunion.
· Look for any reaction to see how he is taking the situation.
